Meet Patricia A. Marston

Award-Winning Author | Mental Health Coach | Advocate for Healing & Inclusion | Founder of Beyond The Sunset LLC

Life has a way of leading us through paths we never imagined. For me, the journey has been one of love, loss, resilience, and transformation. I was born and raised in the vibrant and culturally rich island of Jamaica, where my values of faith, perseverance, and community were instilled in me from an early age.

A Journey of Strength, Hope & Purpose

I am Patricia A. Marston, born and raised on the beautiful island of Jamaica. Life has taken me on an extraordinary path—one filled with triumphs, tragedies, and transformation. My journey through loss has shaped my purpose: to offer love, comfort, and support to those experiencing grief.

From the depths of sorrow after losing my son, Bradley, I found healing through writing. Today, as a 2X Bestselling Author, Board-Certified Master Mental Health Coach, and Founder of Beyond The Sunset LLC, NY, I dedicate my life to helping others find light beyond their darkest moments.

📚 My Literary Journey: Writing Through Grief & Healing

Writing became my lifeline. During my most painful nights—when sleep eluded me and grief consumed my heart—I turned to words. Each sentence became a step toward healing, each page a piece of my soul finding peace.

My first book, My Extraordinary Son: The Triumphs and Tragedies of Raising a Child with Down Syndrome, is more than just a memoir. It is a tribute to Bradley’s beautiful spirit and a guide for parents navigating similar journeys.
